Netier National Capital Rally

When: 11 May
Where: Canberra, ACT

The CAMS Australian Rally Championship’s second round gets underway in the forests of Canberra for the first of the one-day events in 2019.

The Netier National Capital Rally will see plenty of competitive action on Saturday, as crews battle to claim the quickest times at the new-look event.

With the Nutanix Service Park located outside the event’s headquarters at Abode Woden Hotel, the 35 entered crews will be taking on more than 160 competitive kilometres across two heats in what is certainly going to be a thrilling contest.

Local talent Harry Bates currently leads the Championship after a brilliant season opener in Western Australia, while brother Lewis sits in second ahead of Darren Windus.

Spectating is free for all spectators across Saturday and fans can find all the information required, including the Rally Guide, here.

Motors Hobart Time Attack Tasmania

When: 11 May
Where: Baskerville Raceway, TAS

Baskerville Raceway hosts the annual Time Attack event this weekend and it’s an even playing field as last year’s champion Andrew Reader is unable to attend.

With 24 drivers entered into the popular event and a number of new faces set to take on the challenge, the calibre of vehicles are impressive with a host of RX7s, BMW, Golfs and Subaru Imprezas all on the bill.

Hosted by the Time Attack Tasmania, the one-day three-class event is free for all spectators to attend.
